One of our community members, Unathi Mbonambi in South Africa sent us a question.

Do you have any sample edits on subjects with darker skin tones?

After taking a dive into her beautiful portfolio, we knew that we wanted to feature her on the site, so we asked her for some sample RAW files for us to use as a demo. A big thank you to Unathi for helping out!

In short, our Preset System is has been tested over all types of skin tones. Here are some examples from Unathi using both the Modern Pack and Pastel Pack. Our Modern pack has a vibrant, warm, look while our Pastel Pack has a softer, lighter look that emulates Fuji 400H.

To ensure an accurate demonstration, we limited the post production of these images to a single click of our presets and adjustments to White Balance. As an artistic choice, the post producer decided to use colder white balance adjustments on the Pastel examples and warmer adjustments on the Modern examples.
